The Billiard Congress of America(BCA) is a leading organization which promotes billiards across the United States. It is headquartered near Broomfield, Colorado. There is also a branch in Atlanta. BCA is involved with all aspects of the sport. They have been instrumental in promoting snooker as well as 3-Cushion.
BCA is also an governing body responsible for overseeing and providing input to the rules and specifications of tournaments and games. BCA not only plays an important role in sanctioning tournaments but also provides educational resources as well as leadership opportunities to promote pool and the game.
The BCA is a major promoter of pool and has been an organizer of billiards in the United States for over a century. Through education and leadership opportunities, the organization supports the development and growth of the next generation through scholarships and programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame was established to honor outstanding players and contributors.
The Official Rules and Records Book is a compact rulebook that combines the standardized rules of the World Pool-Billiard Alliance (WPA). It also has a rulebook which outlines the rules of many other games. The U.S. Open14.1 Championships are promoted by the BCA.
The BCA promotes championship tournaments and has the Billiard Congress of America Hall Of Fame. It is the governing body for American pocket billiards. The BCA holds a trade show every year, which features a wide array of products, including billiards, barstools, casual furniture, and a variety of other cues.
The BCA has also organized the BCA Pool League, which is a league sanctioning organization. The league has over 450 sanctioned leagues in the United States as well eight other countries. It also hosts the BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships. These championships have 22 divisions. BCAPL's membership is also more than 50,000.
BCA also holds the annual BCA Summit. It features seminars on a wide range of home and billiard topics as well as social events to foster peer relationships. Since 1982, the BCA Expo has been an industry trade event. It will unite with the Amusement Expo International (AEI) for the first time during the March 27-30, 2023 event in Las Vegas.
