Pool is a very competitive sport, which is quite different from other billiard games. It is very popular around the globe. There are many versions of this game in the USA. The most popular are the eight-ball and nine-ball pool. Pool matches are often played over multiple games. After a certain number frames, the winner is declared. The winner generally gets 61 point. However, different winning numbers can be awarded handicaps.

The game's main objective is to get all the balls pounded. Each ball pocketed is worth 1 point. Additional balls can be added to your score. The eight-ball rule states that a player can win only if they take the ball first. If a player does not pocket the eight ball, they lose the game. If the eight ball is pocketed during a foul, the other balls that were pocketed in the course of the foul are pocketed and are spotted. The foul does NOT count towards the points. The foul is not counted towards the points if a player commits more than one foul in a row.

The balls can be divided into three sets: striped or solid balls, object balls, and striped ones. They are typically smaller than American style balls. They come in a variety colours, including dark violet for four and twelve balls. In the past, the object balls were all red, but these days they are usually multi-colored. They can be made from wood, fibreglass or carbon fibre. Common ball diameters include 2+1/16", 2" and 3".

The object of the game is to pocket the black eight ball. The object of the game is to get the black eight ball. To do that, the player must first pocket all balls. But he must make certain that all balls are spotted and placed in direct line to the footrail. Then, the balls that have pocketed are placed back on the table, and the player who pocketed the eight ball is able to decide whether he wants to keep playing or if he wants to give his opponent a chance to continue the game.

You can pocket a basketball without fouling by placing it close to your foot and calling the shot. Fouls must not be committed during the shot. All other balls must be placed in line with the foot spot. The foul will not add to the points, but the player will receive a shot free of charge. This shot can be played with any ball, and the foul is suspended until the player makes a new shot.

Each player who makes a shot must place the ball into their pocket. The first ball to be hit is the one in the front row. However, if a foul is committed before a ball is pocketed, the ball in the front row must be pocketed again. The player may pocket any other balls in addition to the ball in the front row.
