
Whether you're a pool player or just a fan of the game, the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) is a leading organization that organizes billiard sports and promotes the game throughout the United States. It is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, and has a presence in Atlanta, Georgia. The BCA, as an organization, is involved in all aspects of the sport and has played a major role in the promotion and development of 3-Cushion billiards and snooker.
BCA is also an governing body responsible for overseeing and providing input to the rules and specifications of tournaments and games. The BCA is responsible for sanctioning tournaments and offers leadership opportunities and educational resources to promote pool.
The BCA played a significant role in the promotion, development and preservation of pool. It has been a leading organizer of billiards sports in the United States since more than 100 years. Through education and leadership opportunities, the organization supports the development and growth of the next generation through scholarships and programs. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame recognizes exceptional players and contributes.

The Official Rules and Records Book is a compact rulebook that combines the standardized rules of the World Pool-Billiard Alliance (WPA). It also has a rulebook which outlines the rules of many other games. The U.S. Open 114.1 Championships promotion is also done by the BCA.
The BCA also supports and sanctions championship tournaments. It's also the governing body for pocket billiards in the United States. Every year, BCA holds a tradeshow that displays a wide variety products including billiards barstools, casual furnishings, and other cues.
The BCA also organizes the BCA Pool League which is a league sanctioning organisation. The league has over 450 sanctioned leagues in the United States as well eight other countries. The BCAPL National 8-Ball Championships hosts 22 divisions. BCAPL has more than 50,000 members.
BCA also hosts the annual BCA Summit. This summit features seminars on a range of topics related to billiards, home recreation, and social events that promote peer relationships. It has also held the BCA Expo, an industry trade show since 1982. It will unite again with Amusement Expo International, (AEI), during the March 27-30 event in Las Vegas.

The Billiard Congress of America Official Rules and Records Book is also maintained by the BCA. It contains rules for all billiards games including nine-ball. You can also find a rulebook for games that aren’t open to international competition.
The BCA is not as focused on league play as the Billiards Association of America (APA), but it's one of the largest supporters of the sport. It offers education resources, leadership opportunities, referral services, and other support.
