
The World Trick Shot Championship is the world's championship of trick shot billiards. It was held on snooker tables for the first time in 1991. Matchroom Sport organised the event. Matchroom Sport organized it. In 2005, the competition took place at Celtic Manor.
In the 1970s, trick shots were popular among professional billiards players around the world. These players were given prizes, such as the World Championship of Artistic Pool or the International Challenge Cup. Trick shot is a pool game that has been sanctioned by The World Pool-Billiard Assocation. Other than participating in tournaments as trick shot artists, they also teach other people the sport.
Mike Massey is a well-known trick shooter. He has been doing tricks since the 1970s. He has been a part of many games with celebrities such as Jason Gedrick, Paul Sorvino and others. Massey has also been a key figure in the sport as an instructor and a fund raiser. Massey's performances at the Waste Management Pheonix Open, and at the Volvo PGA at Wentworth have earned him a lot of attention.

Mike Massey is a teacher of many professionals in the field, including Scott Baiin (Dean Cain) and James Tolkan. He has won several professional international competitions, and has been a member of Team U.S.A., which won the trick shot world championship in 2002. The team also performed at HSBC Championships Abu Dhabi, and at Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Jim Sommer is another amazing trick shot artist. He has participated at many international Trick-shot turning competitions and has also traveled all over the United States to compete for the US Nationals. He was the winner of the US Nationals Artistic Pool Championship.
The World Trick Shot Artists Association, (WTSAA), is an association of trick shot artists around the world. Paul Gerni (world champion) is the organization of this association. The WTSAA book contains 160 tricks. Some of these tricks include: the machine gun shot; the "kick", shot; and the quick fire shot. Other trick shots include "pro" shot (extremely cut shot), and "proper" shot.
Tim "The Dragon", Chin (2022 US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion), won the prestigious title defeating Jason Lynch (The Michigan Kid) in the finals. Both Lynch and Chin have been ranked WPA World. However, Chin has the advantage of being a seasoned professional, while Lynch is still a student at Ohio State.

The Trick Shot Magic competition will take place October 9-10. The event will include eight international stars. They will be competing for the purse of $40,000. Each player will have six to ten choices. After picking their favorites, each player will have three chances for the shot to be completed. The player with the most successful shot will receive a point.
For many years, the best trick shot artist in the world was Geoff McIlroy. He became inspired to play trick shots after watching Noel Hunt. Although he has fallen off ladders and met people he never expected to meet, he has never stopped trying.
