The US Open 9 Ball Championship is a highly coveted title in nine-ball pool. The US Open 9 Ball Championship is an annual tournament that draws more than 1,000 spectators. 64 players will each receive $148,000 in total prize money. An additional $500 fee will be required to enter the event.

There have been many notable winners of the US Open 9 Ball Championship. Earl Strickland and Steve Mizerak have each won the title. Mike Sigel also took home the title. Efren Reyes "The Magician", however, has been pocket billiards' most successful player. He has won one World Championship and one U.S. Open Championship in his career.

Luther Lassiter, who died in October of 1988, was a legendary road player who won six world 9 ball championships in his career. He was a great player and had a long career. However, Lassiter would've won more if there was more nine-ball tournaments.

He was also a World Teams Championship champion, which was revived in Austria earlier in the year. Earl Strickland and Kurt DeKlerck have both won national titles in the past. The most notable names of the past 20-years have been replaced by Allen Hopkins and Efren “The Magician”Reyes.

Reyes is the best player in straight pool, one-pocket and billiards. He won the US Open in 1999 and the World 9-Ball Championship. He also has two other major titles.


Buddy Hall is the most famous 9 ball name. Hall has won the US Open title back-toback. He has received praise from fans and his talent has been acknowledged. He was an outstanding player at the Shreveport 9-ball game in the 1970s.

Tanvee Valem, a nineyear-old boy from Hyderabad in India, started playing nineball seven months back. Roy Pastor, the Billiards Education Foundation's coach, has been training him. He will be competing at the Predator World Junior 9 Ball Championship.

There are many players who have won more titles than one in the US Open, WPA 9 or WPA 9 tournaments. Jouni Taiti and Fred Dinsmore are some of the prominent players. Earl Strickland is another player who has won a number of US Open and World titles.

The World Pool Championship is the largest pool tournament in the world. Guinness World Records runs it since 1981. This tournament has grown into an international competition that attracts millions of spectators from around the world. It has also been broadcast on ESPN since 1999.

One of the best nine ball players of all time was Buddy Hall. He won a major tournament in the early 1980s and beat all the big names in his field.
