Ding Junhui, also known as Enter the Dragon, is one of the most successful snooker players in the world. He has won fourteen major tournaments throughout his career. Additionally, he has made it to the final of both the World Championship and the World Championship. He is actually considered the greatest Asian player of all time.
Chinese pro snooker players were introduced to the game by their father, who was a keen snooker enthusiast. He went to the Shanghai national snooker team as a child and has been a major success in the home country.
Ding was the youngest player to achieve a televised break of 147 in history in 2007. Ding won the IBSF World Under-21 Championship the following year. He was the first professional title he won and he was ranked world number nine at end of 2006-07 season.
During his career, Ding has won a total of fourteen major ranking titles. He is also a past three-time UK Champion. Ding, who began his professional career as a player at the tender age of 16, has collected more than 500 century wins throughout his career. Ding's recent absences have had a negative effect on his match sharpness. Despite this, Ding has a huge social media following in China.

At age 18, Ding reached the final of the China Open and then became the first player from outside Great Britain and Ireland to win a ranking title. Ding also beat Marco Fu to win his first all-Asian final.
Ding's status as the top ranked snooker player has been lost despite the success of his country. His career has seen a decline over the past six year. He currently ranks ninth in the world. And he has not played in a big money ranking event since 2017.
But, the 34 year-old has a strong resume. He has won a total of almost $5 million in major tournaments. In the 2013-14 season, he won five ranking tournaments and reached the semifinals for the Ladbrokes World Grand Prix. However, he lost to Barry Hawkins (and Shaun Murphy) in the quarter-finals.
He has won ten matches during the 2019 season and recorded ten century breaks. Moreover, Ding has reached the semifinals of the Ladbrokes Players Tour Championship. It is therefore expected that he will return to the World Championship in January.
He has also managed to defeat the 16 world's top players. He defeated Joe Perry (Mark Williams), James Cahill (James Cahill), and Thepchaiya U-Nooh. He even made seven centuries at the Shangai Masters semi-finals.

At the age of 18 he won the Chinese National Championship. This made him the youngest player in the World to have six maximum breaks. He rose seven spots in his ranking to become the ninth best snooker player on the planet.
Before that, Ding remained in the top 16 of the rankings. Ding fell from the top 16 eventually. Ding was a fixture of the Asian snooker scene throughout his entire career.
