Albin beats Saris in the Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open
The Dynamic Billard Veldhoven Open began with the individual 9-ball competition. The Netherlands' largest sports channel, Ziggo Sports Channel will broadcast the first match live. There will also be a semi-final, and the final.

Filler won against Gerson Martinez, Peru. Van Boening faced Fedor Gorst, Russia. Filler won at 6-2 after leading the first phase matches by as much four games.
Van Boening was ranked as the top seed in 64-player bracket. He spent hours practicing his break shot in Qatar. This helped him breeze through his first four opponents, which he won by a combined score of 44-14. He beat Orcollo the first round and then defeated David Alcaide the second round.
