Jimmy White is an internationally renowned snooker player. Jimmy White was born in Balham London and has since won over 30 professional titles. He is known for his flamboyant style and his great natural talent. His accomplishments have seen him reach the top of the sport, in many countries.

He was part of England's World Cup Team in 1988 and won the English Amateur Championships in 1979. He went on to win with Alex Higgins the World Doubles Championship. This has earned him a reputation as a sportsman and as a humorous after-dinner speaker. In addition to his snooker skills, he is an avid conservationist. He has been a part of award-winning documentary teams, and is a passionate animal lover.

Jimmy White, who began his professional career at age eighteen, reached the final of the British Open. He remained in the top 8 for most of his professional career after a successful career. In the 1990s, however, his fortunes began slipping. Although he wasn't able to recreate his previous success, he did manage to stay in the main tour for a second season.

Jimmy White made a name for himself as an underdog. A player with a flamboyant style and a ruthless streak, he fought for his place in the sport with an unflinching determination to succeed. His 1999 world semi final was his proudest moment.


He didn't lose a single frame in his two first qualifying matches. His next two tournaments saw him lose to Matthew Selt, Xiao Guodong, and Matthew Selt. He continued to show good performances throughout the year, despite the setbacks.

He won three matches in full-ranking events during the 2014/15 season. He lost to Barry Hawkins at the International Championship, which ended his disappointing season. Despite this, however, he placed in the top 8, just below the top 64 on main list.

Jimmy White was named the youngest winner of the ranking event the next season. During the course of the tournament, he defeated Stephen Hendry, Mark Selby and David Morris. He secured his spot in professional top 64 with his win.

Jimmy White is the star on the BBC2 series Gods Of Snooker. He is a fan favorite, and is well-known to snooker fans around the world. When he isn’t playing, his time is split between snooker play and public speaking. Often called upon to host awards ceremonies and high profile corporate events, he shares his experience of the sport with audiences.

Jimmy White took advantage of his chance in China after he had fought for his spot in the top 64. In an effort to be in the top 64 again, he qualified for International Championship. He was the second player overall to achieve a maximum break in this tournament.
