The World Trick Shot Championships is a worldwide championship of trick shot pool. It took place at snooker tables and was the first competition to be held. Matchroom Sport organised the event. Matchroom Sport organized the competition. The judges evaluated players based on their technical merits and presentation style. In 2005, the competition was held at Celtic Manor.

These players were awarded prizes like the World Championship of Artistic Pool, International Challenge Cup, or the Swedish Championship. Trick shot is a pool game that has been sanctioned by The World Pool-Billiard Assocation. In addition to participating in tournaments and teaching others, trick shot artists can also be found instructing the sport.
Mike Massey is a well-known trick shooter. He has been doing tricks since the 1970s. He has been a part of many games with celebrities such as Jason Gedrick, Paul Sorvino and others. Massey has been an important figure in the sport both as an instructor, and as a fundraiser. Massey's performance at the Waste Management Pheonix Open in New York and the Volvo PGA Wentworth in New Jersey have made him a prominent figure.
Mike Massey taught professional athletes such as Scott Baiin, Dean Cain, James Tolkan, and James Tolkan. He has won several professional international competitions, and has been a member of Team U.S.A., which won the trick shot world championship in 2002. The team performed at both the HSBC Championships Abu Dhabi as well as the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Jim Sommer is another great trick shot artist. He has competed in many international Trick shot turning events. He was the winner of the US Nationals Artistic Pool Championship.
The World Trick Shot Artists Association (WTSAA) is an organization of trick shot artists from all over the world. The association is organized by world champion Paul Gerni. The WTSAA books contains 160 tricks. Some of these tricks are the machine gun shot (kick), quick-fire shot, and other trick shots. Other trick shots include the "pro" shot, the "extreme" cut shot, and the "prop" shot.
Tim "The Dragon", Chin (2022 US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion), won the prestigious title defeating Jason Lynch (The Michigan Kid) in the finals. Both Lynch and Chin are WPA World Ranked. Lynch is still an Ohio State student, but Chin has the advantage as a seasoned professional.
The next Trick Shot Magic event will be held on October 9-10. This competition will feature eight international stars of the sport. They will be competing for the purse of $40,000. Each player will be able to choose six to ten pre-defined shots. After choosing their favorites, each player will be given three chances to complete the shot. Each player who makes a successful shot earns a point.
Geoff McIlroy is the most famous trick shot artist. Noel Hunt inspired him and he began to practice trick shots. He's been to many places and met people he never anticipated, but he is determined to keep trying.
